The smallest, youngest, and weakest of the spheres, the Violet Banquet is an amalgamation of individuals that share a similar cause. “Lead” by the Voidlord Sylus Synclaire, they tend to operate very freely and independently from traditional Voidal hierarchies. As a part-mortal being, Sylus has long denounced his role as a Lord and instead uses the term to merely define his Voidal rank and species.

Culture

As the name suggests, the Banquet revolves largely around consumption. This doesn’t strictly refer to food, but that is the most common expression. Their primary school of magic is rooted in mortal blood spells (no actual blood involved) that manifest in various forms of acidic attacks. The Banquet does its best to stay out of conflict due to their stark weakness compared to other spheres, but when engaged, they are a ravenously destructive force to be reckoned with.

Unlike other spheres, the Banquet often enlists the aid of mortals outside their ranks. Since most of their ranks are mortals themselves, they tend to keep their sphere open to anyone who may have need of them. The Banquet is accepting of all, but favors Dalafaem (sighted, those who can see the Void) over non-sighted.

The Violet Banquet has no true governing body. Eschewing the tendency of a Lord to rule with absolute law, they remain small enough that interpersonal discussions tend to be enough to come to a consensus on any given issue.
